Palampur: Rajya Sabha MP Indu Goswami lauded Shani Seva Sadan-Palampur and its chief Parvinder Bhatia for their remarkable humanitarian efforts, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking at the Phoolan Devi Kadol Shadi Shagun Yojana event, where she distributed essential wedding items to underprivileged families, Goswami praised the organisation’s tireless work in serving the poor, elderly, women, children and animals.
Highlighting Bhatia’s dedication, Goswami described his efforts as a “supreme example of excellent services towards humanity,” emphasising the importance of Shani Seva Sadan’s outreach, both at its centre and directly to people’s homes. She also announced the donation of 10 oxygen concentrators and a service vehicle to support their ongoing work.
Parvinder Bhatia, in his address, reiterated the organisation’s commitment to selfless service, noting that all their activities were supported by voluntary donations. He emphasised that their mission is to alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable in society.
The event also featured addresses by Lekhraj, social worker Sudarshan Vasudeva and Omkar Sood, who praised the services of Shani Seva Sadan. The programme saw participation from local dignitaries and volunteers, including Anjana Dogra, Bharat Sood and Sanjeev Soni.
