Dharamshala: A demonstration would be staged at Jantar Mantar in Delhi if the Indian Railways doesn’t commence rail services from Himachal’s Nurpur town to Guler by January 18.
P C Vishwakarma, the state president of Navbharat Ekta Dal, announced this during a press conference in Dharamshala on Wednesday.
Vishwakarma highlighted the prolonged disruption in rail services in the Kangra Valley, urging authorities to address the concerns of residents in Nurpur and Guler.
Vishwakarma initiated a protest at Kachheri Adda earlier in the day and subsequently submitted a memorandum to the Rail Minister through AC Express, demanding the prompt resumption of train services to Nurpur and Guler in the Kangra Valley.
He emphasized the significance of the rail network for the local populace and expressed discontent with the delay in restoring rail services.
