Addresses special session of Himachal Legislative Assembly

President Ram Nath Kovind, in his address during the special session of the Legislative Assembly on Friday, praised Himachal for having achieved the 100 per cent target of administering the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
He said that the state had emerged champion in this cause and hoped that it would also emerge as the leading state of the country in future.
Speaks highly of all ex CMs of state
The President said that personalities like Yashwant Singh Parmar and Pandit Padam Dev had led the freedom struggle from the state to its pinnacle.
The first voter from the state, Shyam Saran Negi also found a mention in the President’s address.
The President spoke eloquently about the roles of Yashwant Singh Parmar and all former chief ministers in the development of the state.
