Gagret: On September 15, 2023, a successful police operation took place at Shiv Badi Mandir in Gagret, Himachal Pradesh.
Acting on secret information received around 8:30 PM, a team comprising Asi Kartar Singh, HC Puneet, HC Rocky Kumar, HHC Mahomd Aslam, HHC Manohar, LHHC Aruna Kumari, HHC Sanjay Kumar, and Constable Amit Kumar apprehended two individuals.
Maan Singh and Mahashu Ram, residents of Gagret and Baranda respectively, were caught near the Army ground in Gagret.
The police recovered a significant haul of 28560 Proxywel Spas (Tramadol) Capsules and impounded a pickup vehicle with registration number HP 36B 8124. A case under FIR No 125/23 dated 15/09/23 U/S 22-25-29 of 61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at P.S Gagret.
The investigation is underway with Additional SP Rajinder Kumar from ANTF Kangra as the lead investigator, and Inspector Sho Sunny Guleria as the second investigator. The suspects are undergoing profiling as part of the ongoing investigation.
