Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Corona warriors and beneficiaries in the state, on Monday, from New Delhi regarding the Covid vaccine. Speaking through a virtual medium, Prime Minister, while congratulating the people of the state, said that Himachal had emerged as a champion in administering the first dose of the vaccine to the entire population and hoped that the state would achieve its 100% target for the second dose too.
PM’s advise
Modi advised the government to conduct land surveys in the state and adopt drone technology for early warning of landslides. Emphasizing the need for promoting organic farming, he urged the farmers of the state to take a stand during the country’s 75th year of independence to completely switch over to organic farming in the next 25 years.
Earlier Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, welcomed the Prime Minister and expressed his gratitude for his dialogue with the people of the state.

The Prime Minister interacted with Dr Rahul from Dodraquar Civil hospital, Shimla district, Dayal Singh of Thunag in Mandi district, Nirma Devi, Asha worker from Malana in Kullu district, Nirmala Devi from Hamirpur, Karmo Devi from Una and Navang Upasak from Lahaul-Spiti.
