Vanshika Parmar, who had created history by becoming the first girl from Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh to win the coveted and prestigious crown of Miss Earth India 2022 at the tender age of 19, shall now be representing India internationally in the Philippines at the Miss Earth pageant in November.
She will be competing with representatives from 90+ countries for the coveted crown of Miss Earth 2022.
Vanshika, who is currently pursuing her major from Miranda House, Delhi University, was crowned as India’s official representative for Miss Earth 2022 on September 3 at JLN Stadium, New Delhi.
She is the granddaughter of retd. Colonel Shakti Chand Parmar, a resident of village Tunhi, post office Mansai, tehsil Nadaun, district Hamirpur.
Her father, group captain SK Parmar, is an Indian Air Force officer.
Her mother, Rittu Parmar, hailing from Dharamshala is an ardent social worker who believes in giving the underprivileged wings to fly. She has been a beacon of light for many.
