PALAMPUR: Kajal Kapoor, the daughter of taxi driver Dheeraj Kapoor from Chandropa village in Palampur subdivision of Kangra district, will serve as a Lieutenant in the India Army.
The village is filled with joy upon Kajal’s achievement. She completed her Class X education at Vision Public School in Patti and her Class XII from the government school in Rajpur.
Her mother Santosh Kapoor is a homemaker. Kajal’s sister Palak is a Class XII student.
Kajal pursued her nursing studies at Shimla Valley Nursing College in Shimla. After her course, she cleared the examination and secured the position of Lieutenant in the Army, which is a matter of pride for both her family and the region. Kajal will join the Command Hospital in Kolkata.
