DHARAMSHALA: The World Patient Safety Day-2023 was celebrated at the conference hall of the Zonal Hospital at Dharamshala with the theme ‘Engaging patients in patient safety’.
A presentation detailing various facets of patient safety, including medication safety and its impact on health outcome, was made by Medical Superintendent Dr Rajesh Guleri. Also, a pledge on patient safety was administered to all participants.
The forms for voluntary organ donation were circulated among all participants. A poster competition was organised by the students of Satyam Nursing College.
The function was also attended by Dr Rajesh Sood, MOH; Dr Ajay Datta, SMO; Dr Sunil Bhatt, Blood Bank Officer; Dr Tarun Sood, DPO; other medical officers, nursing staff, lab staff and paramedical staff.
