National Students Union of India (NSUI) representatives of Una college have demanded the reopening of the fee portal and increasing the number of seats in the college.
Memorandum submitted
The NSUI, led by Chand Thakur along with the students submitted a memorandum in this regard to principal Dr Trilok Chand.
Thakur said that though the last date of the admission process had been fixed on August 31, there were many students who were unable to deposit the fees due to late registration and approval on the last day due to which they could not complete admission formalities.
He, therefore, demanded that the portal be reopened for depositing fees so that students could complete their admission process.
Extension of dates sought
He also demanded the extension of dates for admissions to the BA, BBA and BCA courses. He said that there were many students who had scored excellent marks in their plus two exams but were denied admissions to the BBA, BCA and BCom courses. Chetan Singh, Anmol Sharma, Parul Abhay,Munish, Mayank, Atul, Ankit Saini, Ratindra Singh, Aman, Meena, Priyanka, Sanjama, Harry, Rajat Sahota, Siya Tej Pratap Singh, Mani, Harsh and others were present on the occasion.
