CHAMBA: Bharmour Additional Deputy Commissioner Naveen Tanwar has clarified that recent reports circulating on social media claiming the suspension of the Shri Manimahesh Yatra due to rain are false. He assured the public that the pilgrimage is ongoing smoothly without interruption.Tanwar explained that on September 15, the yatra was temporarily postponed for the night due to heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions. However, it resumed on the morning of September 16. He emphasised that the local administration is vigilantly monitoring weather conditions and will promptly provide relevant advisories to devotees in case of any weather-related concerns.Furthermore, Tanwar reported that all preparations for the main ‘shahi snan’ (bath) during the Radhashtami festival have been diligently completed. He urged devotees to strictly adhere to the essential guidelines issued to ensure a safe and enjoyable pilgrimage experience.The Manimahesh Yatra, a significant religious event for devotees, continues to draw pilgrims from across the country to the spiritually significant Manimahesh Lake, nestled in the picturesque Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh.
