Solan: In a temporary disruption to regular traffic, the Kalka-Shimla National Highway is scheduled to be closed from 11:00 pm to 03:00 am on Thursday night. The decision has been mandated by the Deputy Commissioner of Solan in light of ongoing road maintenance and debris removal work in the Chakkimod area, undertaken by the Four Lane Company over the past few days.
In order to facilitate continued vehicular movement, alternate routes have been established. Small vehicles are advised to utilize the Kasauli-Jangeshu-Parwanoo road during the specified closure period. Authorities urge residents and commuters to exercise caution and undertake journeys only when absolutely necessary.
