In a thrilling showdown at the Siddh Baba Balak Nath dedicated Chhing Mela in Sai village, Doon Vidhansabha, Neelu emerged victorious in the final bout against the formidable wrestler from Uttar Pradesh, Bahadur Pahalwal.
Tqhe competition witnessed a display of grit and determination from nearly 150 wrestlers hailing from Punjab, Himachal, and Jammu and Kashmir.The event’s chief guest, social worker Hansraj Chandel from Doon, inaugurated the wrestling match, and later honored the winner and runner-up wrestlers with awards.
Chandel emphasized the importance of organizing such events, stating that they play a pivotal role in encouraging youth towards sports. He also contributed a sum of 5100 INR to the organizing committee from his discretionary fund. As a token of appreciation, Hansraj Chandel was presented with a memento by the committee.
