Dharamshala: Maharana Pratap Public School commemorated National Sports Day. Observed annually across India to honor hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, this day highlights the importance of sports in fostering physical and mental development.
At Maharana Pratap Public School, Singhwa, a series of sports competitions were organized for students from classes 1 through 12. The events aimed to promote not only physical fitness but also moral and social values among the students.
The school’s manager, Colonel S.S. Rana, encouraged all participants, while Principal Mrs. Shalini Rana awarded prizes to the top performers. This initiative underscores the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic development through sports.
