National Lok Adalat to be held on May 11 in Kangra district

Dharamshala: Scheduled for May 11, the National Lok Adalat will convene in all courts of Kangra district, as announced by Ajay Mehta, the District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Kangra.
The Lok Adalat will resolve various cases based on settlements. Matters such as criminal compoundable offenses, check bounce cases, motor vehicle challans, and others will be adjudicated upon. Additionally, cases related to road accidents, domestic violence, marital disputes, among others, will also be addressed.
Furthermore, pending cases that have not yet been filed in the courts will also be resolved during the Lok Adalat. Judge Ajay Mehta emphasized the time and cost-saving benefits of Lok Adalats.
