*Karsog: Pratibha Singh, the Member of Parliament representing the Mandi constituency and the State President of Congress, conducted a thorough assessment of the disaster-stricken regions within the Karsog assembly constituency, including Punni, Pokhi, Mahog, and Gawalpur. The visit aimed to gauge the extent of damage caused by the calamity and evaluate ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts.

In Punni village, a site deeply impacted by a recent cloudburst incident, MP Pratibha Singh interacted with affected residents, empathizing with their plight. She pledged comprehensive support to the affected families and urged officials to expedite aid distribution. Expressing sorrow over the tragic loss of Nesari Devi, the wife of the late Meenaram, who was swept away by floodwaters, MP Pratibha Singh announced that she would personally contribute towards the wedding expenses of Nesri Devi’s daughter.

Addressing the assembled villagers, MP Pratibha Singh assured them that the government stands firmly by their side during this challenging period. She issued directives for the repair of roads leading to Punni village and other local thoroughfares.

Furthermore, MP Pratibha Singh instructed officials to identify suitable locations for the rehabilitation of individuals whose homes were completely destroyed, rendering them homeless. This initiative aligns with the state government’s guidelines for disaster relief and recovery efforts.
