10 sittings to be held during the session from Aug 2 to Aug 13

Shimla | TNR
The 12-day monsoon session of the state assembly that commenced on Monday is expected to be stormy.
There would be 10 sittings and the assembly secretariat administration has received 853 questions.
Discussion has been sought on four issues under rule 101 and seven issues under rule 130. August 5 and August 12 will be private member days.
Congress to make session stormy
Congress MLAs are all set to corner the state government on a variety of issues including unemployment, rising prices, inflation, mismanagement during corona spread, bad roads, rising expenses of government on nonproductive work, neglect of orchards, the new pay scale for government employees, and many more.
Government to reply to all questions, issues
Parliamentary affairs minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that the BJP government under the stewardship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has been working efficiently and honestly.
The government would have no hesitation in replying to all questions and discuss all issues raised by the Opposition.
Extended monsoon session
Normally monsoon assembly sessions in the state used to be for five or six days but this time the budget session sittings were cut short due to a hike in the number of corona cases. The Constitution mandates at least 35 sittings in a year so the extended monsoon session would compensate for the days lost during the budget session.
