Dharamshala: Dr. Rishad Mohammad, a prominent educationist from Himachal Pradesh, emphasized the importance of mentorship over reliance on mobile phones for education while interacting with students. He stated that those who believe mobile phones alone can provide them with a proper education are mistaken, as mentorship is crucial to succeed in today’s competitive world.
“I am well aware of the mentality of both students and parents. They often think that mobile phones can educate their children, but this is not true. Mobile phones can be highly distracting. Mentorship is essential in this competitive age,” said Dr. Mohammad.
As the director of Guru Academy, Dr. Mohammad also highlighted the challenges that students and their parents will face in the next two to three years.
“I urge parents to closely monitor their children during the next two years. This period is very crucial. Parents need to be aware of their children’s friend circles, associations, and activities,” he added.
Guru Study Center has significantly contributed to helping students achieve their dreams of becoming doctors. Many students from this coaching center are now serving as doctors in various parts of Himachal Pradesh. The academy has established a strong reputation in the field of NEET preparation.
