Mathematics workshop held at GAV school-Kangra to equip teachers for competitive exams

KANGRA: A two-day mathematics workshop was conducted at GAV Public School, Kangra, where 60 teachers from 30 schools across the district participated.
The workshop was organised under the CBSE Capacity Building Programme, with focus on equipping teachers with skills to create competitive exam question papers. Resource person Rajeev Budhiraja shared valuable insights on various aspects of competitive exam paper preparation, helping teachers enhance their expertise.

Chhavi Kashyap, principal of Rainbow School, Nagrota Bagwan, and a CBSE resource person, urged the participating teachers to refrain from any form of student mistreatment, stressing that such behaviour could negatively impact their mental health. She emphasised the importance of encouraging students to maintain their enthusiasm, ensuring they remain eager to answer every question.
Sunil Kant Chadha, Principal of GAV Public School and CBSE City Coordinator, highlighted the school’s continuous efforts to provide an excellent platform for both teachers and students. He expressed confidence that this initiative would help students perform exceptionally well in competitive exams, bringing pride to their respective schools.
Chandrabhooshan Sharma, the head of the mathematics department, warmly welcomed the teachers and resource persons to the event.
