Latest work “Boys from Marsss” with Nepal’s unluv breaking boundaries
MANDI: Anurag Vashisht, a small-town music artiste from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, has joined hands with Shubham Agarwal of Kathmandu in Nepal who is famous by the title ‘unluv’ and both have been breaking boundaries with their latest musical endeavour “Boys from Marsss”.
The project aims to seamlessly blend the infectious rhythms of pop with the rich storytelling of Hindi music, creating a fusion that resonates both locally and internationally. Their collaboration is a testament to the power of technology and shared passion.
Despite never meeting in person until 2021, Anurag and unluv began crafting their tunes online, bridging the geographical gap with their mutual love for music. However, it was their face-to-face meeting in the picturesque town of Manali that truly solidified their bond during their 15-day songwriting camp. Surrounded there by the serene beauty of the mountains, they immersed themselves in a creative whirlwind, refining their sound and vision for “Boys from Marsss”.
Now, as they prepare to unleash their debut tracks, Anurag and unluv are bursting with excitement. With their tight beats, infectious melodies and unwavering dedication to their craft, they are ready to make their mark in the music world.
Talking to TNR, Anurag shares that “Boys from Marss” isn’t just a project, it’s a testament to the magic that happens when two passionate souls come together to create something truly extraordinary. When asked what does this award mean to you, he explained, “Being chosen as ‘Spotify’s Radar India Artist of the Month’ and being featured on the banner cover is an incredible moment for me.
I feel immensely proud to see my music being recognised on Spotify, especially considering the vastness of the Indian music scene with so many releases every day. It’s not easy to stand out in such a crowded space, so this recognition means a lot to me.”
“I’ve always believed that good things would happen, that my music would find its audience. But my team, manager and loved ones keep reminding me to celebrate every step of the journey. So yes, I should definitely be happy,” said the elated young singer.
“It’s a reminder to enjoy the moment and appreciate how far I’ve come. I’m grateful for the support of my team and fans who have helped me reach this point. This recognition is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s to come,” he adds.
