Dharamshala: A 30-year-old man was caught from Bheem Tilla park near Chetru in Dharamshala on suspicion of drug-related activities. The arrest by Gaggal police took place during a routine patrol, as officers noticed the man engaged in suspicious behavior within the park premises.
The police apprehended the individual who was attempting to conceal 5.82 grams of heroin behind bushes.
The suspect has been charged under various sections of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act and has been detained at Gaggal Police Station. Following a court appearance at the Kangra Court, the magistrate ordered a three-day police remand for the accused.
