LPG cylinders in Himachal are now costlier by Rs 25. This price increase will be effective from September 1.
Consumers will now have to pay almost Rs 1000 per LPG cylinder, i.e Rs 987 including delivery charges.
Simultaneously commercial gas cylinders have become costlier by Rs 75, and September prices will stand at Rs 1848 per cylinder. Subsidies in bank accounts of domestic consumers will slide to Rs 31.
Prices of LPG cylinders in August had shot up by Rs 25 and stood at Rs 956.50 while prices of commercial gas had reduced by Rs 5 and stood at Rs 1773.
Increased by Rs 50 in two months
The prices of LPG gas cylinders have been increasing continuously for the past two months. During this period prices shot up by Rs 50, increasing the difficulties of domestic consumers who are already bearing the brunt of inflation.
