LPG gas costlier by Rs 25

Consumers to get only Rs 31 subsidy in their bank accounts

LPG gas companies have increased the price of cooking gas by Rs 25 on Wednesday morning taking the price of an LPG gas cylinder to Rs 956 including delivery charges of Rs 52.50.

This means that consumers will get a subsidy of just Rs 31 into their bank accounts.

Commercial gas cylinders cheaper

Commercial gas cylinders will be cheaper now by Rs 5 and will be available to consumers at Rs 1773 including delivery charges of Rs 59.

The price of commercial gas had been increased on August 1 to Rs 1773, with an increase of Rs 73, while that of cooking gas had remained steady then.
