Dharamshala: It is unfortunate to label elected legislators as “black snakes and black sheep”, said Himachal’s BJP leaders in a joint statement.
The state government is in the minority, therefore, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu should resign from his position on ethical grounds, said former MLA and district Kangra-Chamba in charge Vipin Singh Parmar and state BJP vice-president and Kangra MLA Pawan Kajal, in their statement.
They stated that such words do not befit the dignity of the Chief Minister occupying the highest post in the state. The way the Chief Minister is commenting on rebel legislators, it seems he is scared because the government is in the minority.
They said that the state is in such a condition today that the Chief Minister has to say that if attempts are made to steal the chair, there will be a public agitation, which clearly shows that the Chief Minister is worried not about the state but about his chair. The BJP leaders said that the departure of the Congress government in the state is certain.
