The Union government woke up belatedly after the tragic train accident in Odisha to give KEC International two orders for Train Collision Avoidance System, also called the Kavach system, worth ₹600 crore.
Company CEO Vimal Kejriwal said that there is “tremendous scope for more”.
“The opportunity is very large, but we have not seen too many tenders or orders coming out of it,” Kejriwal added.
