JOA IT paper leak case: Accused siblings, out on bail summoned by SIT for questioning again

Siblings Gopal Singh and Neetu Dogra, who are out on bail in the postcode 939 JOA IT paper leak case, were on Friday again summoned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for questioning at Vigilance police station Hamirpur.

Both the accused were interrogated for two hours. During the investigation, it had been found that large sums of money were deposited in the account of one of the accused. The SIT inquired about this amount but did not get any satisfactory answers. Both kept changing their statements again and again.

The SIT registered the case on March 11, 2023, in the postcode 939 JOA IT paper leak case. On April 28, 2023, the accused siblings were arrested by the SIT from their residence in Hamirpur. After being in police and judicial custody, Gopal Singh got bail on May 24, while Neetu Dogra got bail from District Sessions Court Hamirpur on May 31.

In the postcode 939 JOA IT paper leak case, the SIT has arrested suspended senior assistant Uma Azad, besides two peons Kishori Lal, and Madan Lal, their sons and nephews Vishal Chowdhary and Dinesh Kumar, broker Sohan Singh, Sohan’s wife Shailja, Uma’s niece Mamta. Both the peons, as well as Uma Azad and Dalal, are currently in judicial custody, while others have been granted bail.
