SHIMLA: Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Chief Justice N Kotiswar Singh donated Rs 45,71,575 towards ‘Aapda Rahat Kosh-2023’ on behalf of the judges, judicial officers and officials of the High Court and the district judiciary. He expressed solidarity with the people of Himachal Pradesh, who have suffered colossal damages due to the recent monsoon fury.

Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while thanking Chief Justice N Kotiswar Singh for this noble gesture, stated that this contribution would go a long way to mitigate the sufferings of the disaster-affected families of the state. He said that the people of the state had suffered massively due to the excessive rains triggering landslides and flashfloods. “The contribution means a lot for the people of the state and such a humane approach inspires others as well to reach out to the needy during difficult times,” said the Chief Minister.
