Dharamshala: In the final match of the ongoing Test series between India and England held in Dharamshala, India secured a decisive victory over England.
India sealed the series with a commanding 4-1 lead, defeating England by an innings and 64 runs on the third day of the match.
England’s team collapsed like a house of cards on the third day. England’s batsman Joe Root contributed the most with 84 runs. India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin marked his 100th Test match with an outstanding performance, claiming a total of 9 wickets in the match, including 5 wickets in the second innings.
Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah also grabbed two wickets each in the second innings, while Ravindra Jadeja managed to take one wicket. India’s young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who showcased excellent batting throughout the series, was named the Player of the Series.
