In a first, Himachal Tourism brings Spring Carnival in Dharamshala

Dharamshala: In a first, the Himachal Tourism department is all set to organise Spring Carnival here from February 25 to February 29, with various events.
Executing the dreams of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu the Cabinet rank Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, R S Bali, highlighted the efforts to make Kangra district the tourism capital and attract visitors through grand events.
The aim is to increase tourists’ footfalls from three to five million in the next five years, with plans for infrastructure development and extensive programs by the tourism department.
Bali announced the first-ever Himachal Tourism Spring Carnival, featuring five Star Nights with renowned singers and the Voice of Dhauladhar competition. Additionally, a Brass Band contest will provide local artists with a platform to showcase their talent.
The carnival will also include diverse cultural presentations, a food festival, a Himachali art exhibition, and a traditional fashion show.
The tourism department aims to continuously organize such events in Kangra district to boost tourism.
Bali instructed tourism officials for the successful execution of the Spring Carnival.
