Dharamshala: The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is gearing up to celebrate its golden jubilee anniversary with various programs across Dharamshala.
Established in 1958, the HRTC has been serving the state for five decades. In commemoration of this milestone, the HRTC management is organizing a series of events, with a focus on road safety.
The program, which falls under the Road Safety Month observed from January 15 to February 14, aims to raise awareness about road safety through street plays and community engagement activities. Scheduled to commence in Dharamshala, the campaign will subsequently be held in different towns including Baijnath Depot on January 9, Jasur on January 12, Nagarota Bagwan on January 13, and Palampur on January 14.
Alongside celebrating the HRTC’s remarkable journey, the program will also provide information about the corporation’s services and highlight the role of HRTC drivers, conductors, and office staff in delivering excellent service.
