Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) has decided not to sell individual tickets for the corporate boxes at the Dharamshala stadium during the India-England Test match. Instead, the HPCA has opted to sell the corporate boxes, each with a capacity of 20 people, as a unit. To this end, the HPCA has fixed a fee of Rs 10 lakh for booking a corporate box for all five days of the Test match.

Earlier, individual tickets were sold for each corporate box. Therefore, cricket enthusiasts who wish to watch the match from the corporate boxes will now have to pool resources to purchase the entire box. This means that one person will have to pay Rs 50,000 for booking a corporate box for all five days of the Test match.

During the World Cup match between India and New Zealand, the price of a ticket for a corporate box was Rs 30,000. The stadium has a total of 10 corporate boxes, out of which three to four boxes will be reserved for the guests of the BCCI and HPCA. The remaining six corporate boxes will be sold for Rs 10-10 lakh each.

The India-England Test match will be played at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium from March 7 to 11. The cheapest ticket for the match is priced at Rs 1,000. Corporate box tickets are not yet available online. Additionally, tickets priced at Rs 1,200, Rs 1,500, Rs 2,000, and Rs 2,500 are being sold online.

Offline ticket counters will be set up outside the stadium after March 3. Avanish Parmar, the secretary of the HPCA, has stated that instead of selling individual tickets, the entire corporate box will be sold as a unit. The decision has been made to ensure convenience and to streamline the ticketing process for corporate box seats.
