HPBOSE 10th results 2024: Snower Valley Public School shines in HP board exam, record 8 students in merit list

Mandi: Snower Valley Public School at Bajaura in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh has again bagged laurels at the state level in the HPBOSE 10th results 2024 declared by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education on Tuesday (May 7, 2024) morning. The school boasts of not one or two but an impressive eight students, all girls, securing coveted positions in the top-10 merit list.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced the much-anticipated HPBOSE 10th results 2024 on Tuesday, ushering in a wave of jubilation and pride among students, teachers and parents alike at Snower Valley Public School.
Class 12th topper from school
Speaking to TNR, all the merit holders attributed their success to the principal, staff, school management and the invaluable support of their parents. School principal Puran Chand Thakur said the school’s grand performance was a testament to its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
Snower Valley Public School had done remarkably well in the HPBOSE 12th results 2024 too as its student Chhaya Chauhan had topped in the HP Board examination, the result of which was declared last week. Chhaya had shared the first position in science stream with Kamakshi Sharma of Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School, Baijnath.
All 8 achievers are girls
In the HPBOSE 10th results 2024, Snower Valley Public School students couldn’t make it to the top three positions, but two of its girls, Titiksha Thakur and Shravika Kashyap, bagged the fourth position in the state with an outstanding score of 696 marks, which is an impressive 99.43 per cent. Mridul Thakur stood sixth in the state with 694 out of 700 marks, which is 99.14 per cent.
Niharika and Suhani secured the seventh position with a score of 693 marks each, a score of 99 per cent. Rashi and Kritika both stood at ninth position with 691 marks, which is 98.71 per cent. With one mark less at 690, Ruchika secured 98.57 per cent marks and bagged the tenth position in the state.
Both Titiksha and Shravika aspire to pursue careers in the medical field and become doctors. Mridul has opted for non-medical and aims to pursue a doctorate in mathematics. Suhani plans to venture into software technology. Rashi and Ruchika also aspire to be doctors and have chosen the medical stream. Kritika aims for UPSC services in the future.
Concurring with foundation day
Principal Puran Chand Thakur congratulated all the meritorious students and their parents on their outstanding success in the matriculation examination. Speaking to TNR, he mentioned that this year, 20 students of the school secured marks between 95 to 100 per cent, 16 between 90 and 94 per cent and 25 students scored in the 80-89 per cent bracket.
He also highlighted that in the Class 12 results declared last week, four students brought laurels, including the first position by Chhaya Chauhan. Aaruhi Sabhar stood 5th in the state while Smridhi and Anukrit Katoch clinched the fifth and ninth positions, respectively.
