‘Himalayas Got Talent’ auditions draw large crowds at Hamirpur’s Super Magnet School

Super Magnet Senior Secondary School in Hamirpur buzzed with excitement as it hosted the auditions for the popular TV reality show “Himalayas Got Talent”. The event saw an impressive turnout, with numerous participants showcasing their diverse talents.
Manish KR Chopra, the coordinator of the show and Managing Director of Destiny Dance Studio, Hamirpur, highlighted the significance of the event. “‘Himalayas Got Talent’ is a TV reality show aired on ‘Punjabi Hits’ channel, featuring participants from various regions, including Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Tibet,” said Chopra. He emphasised that this show was Himachal’s second TV reality show that played a crucial role in promoting the region’s vibrant culture.
The judging panel for the show comprises notable figures such as Bollywood singer Alamgir Khan, show director Dr Naresh Kumar Kondal, ‘Nati King’ Kuldeep Sharma and Karnail Singh Rana. Additionally, the show often features different celebrities from Himachal as guest judges. “‘Himachal Got Talent’ and ‘Himalayas Got Talent’ have both received the prestigious Himachal Shree Award, recognising their contribution to promoting Himachali and Pahari culture,” Chopra said. He also mentioned that these shows had initiated a trend of incorporating ‘Hip Hop’ with Himachali songs, adding a modern twist to traditional music.
In Hamirpur, the judging panel included Manish KR Chopra, Garima and Dr Pankaj, while social worker Tarachand graced the event as a special guest. The Principal and Chairman of Super Magnet School also participated as the Chief Guest, further adding to the event’s significance.
