Himachal’s Palampur administration ignores torn National Flag

Palampur: The quality of the National Flag unfurled on a 108-foot-tall pole in Palampur has become suspect with two tears having sprung up within a short time since it was put up at the local joint office premises.
The chief guest, Chief Parliamentary Secretary and local MLA Ashish Butail, unfurled the flag, which was put up at Rs 14 lakh, in a grand function a week ago.
The current condition of the National Flag has escaped the eyes of the district administration even though it graces their premises of work.
