Road collapse near Pandoh disrupts traffic
The incessant rains have also led to the collapse of a section of the Chandigarh-Manali four-lane highway near Pandoh in Mandi district. The road has sunk more than four feet near Kainchi Mod at Diod, about 5 km from Mandi, forcing authorities to restrict traffic to one-way. The ground beneath the culvert on this vital route is continuously sinking, posing a serious threat to the stability of the four-lane highway in Diod.
