SHIMLA: As the historic consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya approaches on January 22 (2024), excitement and anticipation are mounting, with dignitaries from across the country set to participate in the grand event.
Among the esteemed guests, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh of the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government in Himachal Pradesh has confirmed his attendance.
Vikramaditya Singh took to social media to share the news, expressing his enthusiasm for being part of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ (consecration) rituals at Ram Temple. In his post, he exclaimed slogans of “Jai Shri Ram”, “Jai Dev Samaj”, and “Jai Himachal”.
Known for his active presence on internet media, Vikramaditya Singh, the son of six-term late former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, has often made headlines for his statements on Hindutva. The PWD Minister’s online presence has been marked by his commitment to religious values.
On December 4, he posted a message echoing “Jai Shri Ram”, with a caption emphasising the unity of Sanatan Dharam and Dev Samaj.
The upcoming consecration programme in Ayodhya, the mythological birth place of Lord Ram, has generated widespread interest, and preparations are in full swing. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with 7,000 VVIP guests, have been extended an invitation to partake in this historic event. The presence of dignitaries, including Minister Vikramaditya, underscores the significance of this momentous occasion, bringing together leaders from various regions and parties to witness the realisation of a long-cherished dream—the consecration of the Ram Temple.
