Dharamshala: IAS officer and Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa was honoured by The Newz Radar at the Dharamshala Spring Carnival-2025 for his contributions to the region.
Kangra district, one of the largest in Himachal Pradesh, has successfully implemented various government schemes under Hemraj Bairwa’s leadership. On February 12, the Kangra Deputy Commissioner graced the Dharamshala Spring Carnival-2025 as chief guest.
“Kangra district has hosted numerous government events that were successfully organised under Bairwa’s supervision. From the winter session of the assembly to the winter sojourn and other mega events, Bairwa has performed exceptionally as the head of the district,” said Sunil Chadha, Executive Editor of The Newz Radar.
Bairwa’s tenure has been marked by efficient administration, infrastructural development and a focus on public welfare. His proactive approach has enhanced governance, ensuring that policies reach the grassroots level effectively.
Under his leadership, several flagship schemes of the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government have been effectively implemented in Kangra. The schemes include:
Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana: A scheme providing financial assistance to women, ensuring their economic stability and empowerment
Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Start-Up Scheme: Supporting local entrepreneurs and small businesses in Kangra by offering financial aid and resources
Mukhya Mantri Sukh-Aashray Yojana: Focusing on the welfare of orphans and destitute children by providing them with education and livelihood opportunities
Him Unnati Yojana: Aimed at boosting infrastructure development, employment generation and rural welfare in the region
As the Dharamshala Spring Carnival-2025 celebrates the cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh, Hemraj Bairwa’s efforts in promoting regional growth and community engagement were highlighted.
