Rs 800 MoU signed for setting up textile park by M/s Trident company

Himachal Pradesh government signed 27 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 3,307 crore at a function held in Chandigarh on Sunday. State industry minister Bikram Singh said that nearly 15,000 people of the state would be benefited directly and indirectly.
Textile park, private industrial park
M/s Trident company signed an MoU of Rs 800 crore for the setting of a textile park in the state while M/s Better Tomorrow Infrastructure and Solution Pvt Limited signed an MoU for setting up a private industrial park at an estimated cost of Rs 490 crore.
M/s Madhav Agro signed an MoU of Rs 400 crore for setting up a private industrial park and M/s Himalayan Group of Industries signed an MoU of Rs 150 crore for setting up a skills university.
Proposed film city, hospital
M/s Pitara TV signed an MoU of Rs 100 crore for setting up a film city and a Rs 150 crore MoU was signed by Apollo Hospital franchisee M/s Metaphysical Health Care Pvt Limited for a proposed 250-bed hospital.
M/s Nachiketa Paper Limited signed an MoU of Rs 100 crore for the manufacturing of craft and duplex boards.
Ethanol production
Bikram Singh said that the state government has invited ethanol producers. A total of six MoUs worth Rs 1000 crore were signed for ethanol production in the state.
Director of industries, Rakesh Kumar Prajapati said that the government would be getting more investment for the state once Covid situation normalises.
