Dharamshala: The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) launched a series of campaign events across Dharamshala on Monday in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and Assembly byelections.
Spread out over five locations, BJP officials used these events to connect with the public and promote the party’s policies.
Former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, along with BJP candidate from the Mandi parliamentary constituency, Kangana Ranaut and Rajiv Bharadwaj from the Kangra-Chamba parliamentary constituency, participated in the campaign activities. These events included public meetings, interactions with party workers, and visits to religious sites.
During the campaign, Thakur emphasized the achievements of the Modi government at the center, while Ranaut and Bharadwaj focused on highlighting the BJP’s vision for Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, BJP candidate Sudhir Sharma addressed the crowd, criticizing the current state government and promising a brighter future under BJP leadership.
