Continuing with her tirade against Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, BJP candidate from Mandi and actress Kangana Ranaut said the Congress leader shouldn’t mind if she called him “Raja Beta”, “Raja Bhaiyya” or something else with love.

Addressing a gathering in Kullu, Kangana claimed that it was highly likely that Vikramaditya would join the BJP camp, something “indicated by his frequent trips to Delhi”. Earlier, the actress and former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Jai Ram Thakur had called Vikramaditya “Pal Pal Paltu Ram”. Jai Ram even went to the extent of saying that Vikramaditya and his mother Pratibha Singh, who is the Himachal Congress president, allegedly incited the six Congress turncoats into rebellion.

Kangana clarified that calling names like “Pappu”, “Raja Bhaiya”, and “Raja Babu” isn’t derogatory but rather “endearing expressions for the younger ones”. She highlighted Vikramaditya’s challenges since her foray into politics, citing his “shifting of stance between mudslinging and developmental politics”. Kangana urged Vikramaditya to give account for of the Congress government’s achievements over the past 15 months.

Taking a dig at the infighting within the Himachal Congress, Kangana predicted the incumbent government’s imminent downfall. She also questioned the royal scion for falsely attacking her over her diet, claiming there was no truth in the allegations that she ate beef. She questioned Vikramaditya about the fulfillment of promises such as the grant of Rs 1,500 to women, operation of mobile health vans and fair prices for fruit growers.

Kangana again likened herself to the squirrel from the tale of Ram Setu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Lord Ram’s incarnation.
