Himachal CM Sukhu rushed to IGMC hospital in Shimla, undergoes ultrasound

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s faced a health emergency on Saturday (September 21, 2024) morning when he experienced severe abdominal pain at his residence, Oak Over.
He was promptly rushed to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) for immediate medical attention. After undergoing an ultrasound and initial treatment, CM Sukhu was discharged.

In the last week of October 2023, CM Sukhu was admitted to AIIMS-Delhi for the treatment of a stomach ailment. The CM was admitted to AIIMS following a two-day observation at IGMC, where he was placed in the ICU due to his condition. He was discharged from AIIMS around November 10.
Throughout his hospitalisation, Sukhu maintained close communication with the Chief Secretary and senior officials to ensure continuity in governance.
