Dharamshala: Vipin Singh Parmar, BJP in-charge for the Kangra-Chamba parliamentary constituency and MLA from Sulah, criticized Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for using derogatory language during a public meeting in Una.
Parmar noted that the Chief Minister seemed to have forgotten his position and resorted to such objectionable language for senior leaders. While instances of leaders switching parties due to dissatisfaction with their own party’s functioning are not uncommon in Himachal Pradesh, the use of such language has never been witnessed or heard of in the state’s political history.
Parmar stated that instead of improving his own party’s functioning, accusing leaders without evidence does not befit the Chief Minister’s office. Since assuming power, the Chief Minister has consistently lied, and these have been repeatedly exposed. One of the biggest proofs of his lies was in the recent elections, where he promised the youth government jobs in his manifesto but resorted to deceit. Many of his promises, such as providing ₹1500 to women and ensuring government employment for youth, have turned out to be false. The Chief Minister has a track record of making promises to justify his position, but the public has now realized he is misleading them.
