With BJP’s Mandi Lok Sabha election candidate and actress Kangana Ranaut again targeting PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh by calling him “Chotta Pappu”, party’s former state president and Una MLA Satpal Satti said that politicians shouldn’t indulge in personal attacks and instead raise issues related to the state’s development.
Satti was commenting on Congress leader Vikramaditya, who is expected to contest against Kangana from Mandi, raking up Kangana’s old tweet in which she allegedly said she had eaten beef out of curiosity.
Kangana, meanwhile, again called Vikramaditya “Chotta Pappu” while addressing a gathering in Manali on Friday. She said the royal scion could not threaten her as it was not his ancestor’s estate. “Yeh tumhare baap-dada ki riyasat nahin hai, ke tum mujhe dara, dhamka ke vapis bhej doge (This is not the estate of your father or grandfather that you will threaten me and send me back),” Kangana had said on Thursday.
The actress-turned-politician’s comments came after Vikramaditya called her the “queen of controversies”. The actor has acted in famous Bollywood movie “Queen”.
Referring to Kangana’s reported comments over beef-eating, Vikramaditya had said, “I pray to Lord Ram to give her wisdom and hope she goes back pure from ‘Dev Bhoomi’ Himachal to Bollywood because she will not win the elections as she knows nothing about people of Himachal.”
Kangana called Vikramaditya and former Congress president Rahul Gandhi as “Bada Pappu” and “Chhota Pappu”. She alleged there was one “Bada Pappu” in Delhi and “Chhota Pappu” in Himachal.
