THE NEWZ RADAR
In today’s High Court hearing, the controversy surrounding DGP Nishant Sharma was addressed, and the police submitted a status report for the case. Additional SP Veer Bahadur Singh from Kangra Police presented an investigation report in the MacLeodganj police station case to the court. The court has now scheduled the next hearing for December 21. The previous attempts for hearings on December 5 and the recent day were deferred due to the absence of the Chief Justice.
It is noteworthy that the Himachal Pradesh High Court has taken cognizance of the complaint filed by Palampur businessman Nishant Sharma. Sharma had lodged complaints against the state government, SP Shimla, SP Kangra, and the High Court itself. In his complaint, Nishant Sharma leveled serious allegations against DGP Sanjay Kundu. In response, DGP Sanjay Kundu has filed a case against Nishant Sharma in Shimla. Nishant Sharma has also demanded an FIR against SP Shimla. The police are currently conducting an investigation into this matter.
