Nalagarh: Harpreet Saini, a member of the BJP state executive committee, visited the villages of Jangli, Bani Katli, and Jaloni in the Gram Panchayat Polay Da Khala, distributing financial aid of 5,000 INR each to 11 affected families who suffered losses due to a recent disaster. Under the Sardar Harinarayan Memorial Foundation, Saini has been conducting surveys of affected villages and has already provided 3 lakhs INR in assistance to 70 families.
Saini highlighted that in the hilly regions of the Nalagarh constituency, there are still many villages where government relief efforts have not reached. People are compelled to live in makeshift tents or rented accommodations as they have lost their homes. In the Polay Da Khala Panchayat, Harpreet Saini distributed financial relief to Dhaniram, Raj Kumar, Husan Chand, Vidya Sagar, Nikku Ram, Amarjeet, Nikko Devi, Prakash Chand, Ram Pal, Nant Ram, and Thandu Ram, amounting to 5,000 INR each.
Saini urged the revenue officers to prepare reports on the losses incurred in each village so that the government can provide appropriate compensation to the affected individuals. During this visit, Village Head Ramlok, Deputy Village Head Bavu Ram, Panch Sher Singh, Sundar Lal, Sarvan Singh, Panch Jagat Ram, Anil Kumar, and Data Ram, among others, were present.
The initiative by Harpreet Saini aims to alleviate the suffering of those who have been adversely affected by the recent disaster, ensuring that they receive much-needed financial support to help rebuild their lives.
