Mandi: Deputy Commissioner of Mandi, Apoorv Devgan (IAS), received the prestigious Golden Scotch Award 2024 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Accompanied by district program officer Ajay Badrel, Devgan accepted the award during the 98th Skotch Summit on Sunday, July 13.
The Mandi district administration was honored with this esteemed award for its exceptional work under the Daughter Empowerment Initiative (DEI). This award celebrates the administration’s coordinated efforts with various departments and the unwavering support and dedication of its officers, employees, partner organizations, and community members.
The Daughter Empowerment Initiative is dedicated to improving the status of girls and women in Mandi district by providing them with opportunities in education, health, and self-reliance.
