HAMIRPUR: For the first time, the National Testing Agency (NTA), a body that conducts prestigious competitive exams such as the NEET and the JEE, will also hold the recruitment tests for 84 non-teaching posts posts at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) at Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh.

The institute has released the schedule for the recruitment examinations to be conducted from September 20-22. In fact, the recruitment examinations conducted at the NIT in the past have been controversial.

Not only this, a few years ago a director was dismissed from the post due to irregularities in recruitment examinations. In such a situation, the institute is now seen to be taking cautious steps so that there is no controversy of any kind. Secondly, in this national-level institute which is running with the help of outsourced personnel, regular recruitment is being done after a very long time. Therefore, the management wants to stay away from controversies altogether.

Admit cards for job candidates will be available on the website of the institute from September 13. These can be downloaded three days before the examination.
