CM had been threatened and told not to unfurl Tricolour

A first information report (FIR) has been registered on Saturday against a pro-Khalistan group that had warned Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur not to unfurl the Tricolour on August 15.

Case with cyber police of CID

Cyber police here registered a case under section 124 (sedition against state), section 153-A (act prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), section 506 (intimidation), section 12-B (criminal conspiracy) of Indian Penal Code and section 13 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 1967 along with section 66 C of IT Act.

The FIR has been registered against Khalistan group chief Gurupakhwant Singh Pannu.

Recorded message was sent

The pro-Khalistan group had sent a recorded message to some media persons in which the CM had been threatened and told not to unfurl the Tricolour on August 15.

CM dismisses threats

Responding to the pro-Khalistan threat, the Chief Minister said that he was not afraid of such empty threats and nothing and nobody could stop him from unfurling the Tricolour.
