Kripal Parmar, ex- BJP MP who had lost last assembly elections from Fatehpur area has landed into a controversy for abusing a doctor over telephone over issue of arrangements in Surya private hospital.
The audio recording of the phone call has gone viral of the leader.
Parmar was asking Block Medical Officer of Fatehpur to produce a list of medical staff before him who was on duty in the hospital. However, the leader has no authority to direct the government officers but being a party senior leader he abused him stating that people will burn your hospitals.
When contacted, the BJP leader clarified that it was one of his party worker who had been to this hospital and was operated but at the time of discharge he was tested positive for COVID-19.
“The worker was not a COVID patient at the time of admission, he had some other problem. But when he was discharged he was tested positive. This is negligence of the medical officer who had inspected this private hospital to occupy its 50% bed capacity for COVID” he added. Block Medical Officer has refused to comment on this issue fearing of consequences.
Parmar who had remained member of parliament at Rajya Sabha from Himachal is a contender of party ticket for upcoming by-elections in the Fatehpur constituency after congress MLA (Sujan Singh Pathania) from here had recently passed away due to illness.
