‘Serious Men’ director Sudhir Mishra has said he’s very happy for Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who bagged a nomination at International Emmy Awards in Best Performance By An Actor category for the film. “It’s also a recognition for the film, showing that we’re all making films of a certain international standard,” Sudhir said, adding, “It’s a kind of recognition of Indian cinema.”

Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur has been re-elected as President of the Producers Guild of India. He was re-elected unanimously by the Guild’s Council of Management. Siddharth thanked the members and announced that after serving for six consecutive years as Guild President by the end of 2022, he would not be making himself available for re-election next year.

Actress Mouni Roy will get married to her rumoured boyfriend, Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar in January 2022, as per reports. Mouni’s cousin Vidyut Roy Sarkar interacted with a local newspaper recently and revealed the actress’ marriage plans. The wedding ceremony will take place in either Dubai or Italy, the reports added.
