Director Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune’ is set to release in India on October 22, Warner Bros Pictures announced on Wednesday. The film, starring Jason Momoa, Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac, will release in English and Hindi across the theatres in the country. ‘Dune’ reportedly received an eight-minute standing ovation at its Venice Film Festival premiere.

Singer Sarah Dash, Co-founder of the all-female group ‘Labelle’ and known for 1974 hit ‘Lady Marmalade’, has passed away aged 76. Fellow group member Patti LaBelle took to Twitter on Tuesday to mourn the demise of Sarah and said she was an “awesomely talented, beautiful and loving soul”. ‘Lady Marmalade’ was voted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003.

Amid reports of Karan Johar and Netflix terminating their exclusive content deal signed in September 2019, the producer has clarified that it had always been a two-year deal. As per their contract, Johar’s digital content studio Dharmatic Entertainment was to supply all its content only to Netflix. Dharmatic can now work with other video streaming services.
